Stable alpha: Android USB whole-disk Open without auto-mount, in-app preview, idle close, and the full Open-volume form on Mounted slots. Debug-signed FOSS APK plus an unsigned iOS IPA. Same app id as 0.3.8; installing the APK replaces the old copy. Not a store build. Not 1.0. Not unbreakable.

What changed

  • Android can open a whole USB mass-storage disk (Scan USB disks). Nothing auto-mounts. iPhone has no whole-disk USB Open.
  • View in app previews a decrypted file inside VC Port (not VLC / Files).
  • Idle / screen-lock close, panic tile, PIM estimate, and SHA-256 in volume show progress on screen.
  • Empty Mounted slots use the same Open path as the Volume tab.
  • GitHub Actions no longer runs wrap-test or host-macos.
  • App stays 100% free. Support links are on GitHub only.
  • Local test log is attached as TEST-PASSED.txt.

Install

VCPort-0.3.9.apk — FOSS flavor, no INTERNET. Allow unknown sources, then install.

VCPort-0.3.9-unsigned-preview.ipa — not Apple-signed. Sign it with your Apple ID in AltStore / SideStore, or build ports/ios in Xcode and pick your Team.
