BDO-AIO v2.2.8 — vanilla restore safety (body size + game updates)

Why this release matters

Many game updates stall if pad00000.meta / injected PAZ are still modded. Menu [R] → [1] restores vanilla so the launcher can patch. Characters saved above stock Max are then clamped on load; the game re-saves that shape. Beauty Album / Customization presets can be overwritten with the same data. Re-raising Max later does not restore the old look (salon = pearls/coupons).

What's new

  • Safety notice on body-size menu and [R] → [1] (game-update context, clamp, preset overwrite, free safe order)
  • Explicit confirm before restore dry-run
  • On restore: copy-only snapshot of Documents\Black Desert\Customization → backup\Customization-*
  • Post-restore NEXT STEPS: update → re-inject body size + packs + Meta Inject → only then log oversized characters

Safe free order

  1. Save Beauty Album presets while still modded
  2. [R] → [1] restore vanilla
  3. Let the launcher update
  4. Do not log oversized characters while vanilla
  5. Re-apply body size + other packs → PartCutGen → Meta Inject
  6. Only then log those characters

Still included (from 2.2.0)

  • Safe censorship blanks (live PAZ, DXT5/DXT3 only; never DXT1; never *_cull*)
  • Genital packs: nude body PAC only (no underwear overwrite)
  • Body Max ceilings + Midnight wizard + PartCutGen + Meta Injector

Not in this release

Experimental Body UNCUT (local-only wave) was removed — it could not fix vanilla folder-level partcuts. Use Midnight/XYZW for open remeshed outfits.
