(I'm using app version 1.0.0, as published on the App Store.)
In the Settings UI of the app, custom Device IP, Tunnel IP, and Subnet Mask settings can be set. These settings are stored and remembered properly.
When the VPN is started by tapping the Connect button from the app's main UI, these custom settings are used.
But when the VPN is started via the iOS Settings app (or via Control Center, or via the VPN action in a Shortcut, ...), the custom settings are not used, and the defaults (10.7.0.0, 10.7.0.1, 255.255.255.0) are instead used.
