What changed

Codex functionality

• Removed sonnet bar, now available in the Claude tab
• Implemented token cost estimation based on live quota usage

Other agents

• Basic scaffolding and tabs exist, code is partially implemented and untested
• This will get filled in as I onboard more agents to my projects, and will be completed before v1.0.0 is released

Support

There is one known issue where the widget icon distorts by stretching or shrinking with small probability when switching between virtual desktops. The issue corrects by clicking on the icon or switching to another virtual desktop. I asked Codex 3 times to fix it, and it reduced the probability of this happening, but I decided to punt, as this may be due to underlying behavior of Plasma and I want to debug it manually.

If you encounter any issues with the Codex-related functionality through kpackagetool5 or kpackagetool6, please file a GitHub issue. I will prioritize fixes for Kubuntu 25.10 with kpackagetool6 and severe issues first, as I no longer have a Kubuntu 24 machine.
