📦 Release Notes — Dolphin Core for MuOS v10.5.300

⚙️ Main Changes & General Optimization

• Global GameCube Tuning: Conducted extensive testing and applied structural modifications to the base configuration files (Dolphin.ini and GFX.ini). The primary goal of this build is the general optimization of GameCube emulation, striving for the perfect balance between frame rate stability, audio desync prevention, and CPU load management.

🎯 Experimental GameSettings (Target Profiles)

• Integration for Stubborn Titles: Custom parameters (GameSettings) have been set and carefully calibrated, aimed at lightening the processing load for some of the most notoriously demanding games in the catalog:
  • Scaler
  • Super Mario Strikers
  • Luigi's Mansion
• ⚠️ Development Note (Work in Progress): Currently, these game-specific configurations are still in the integrated testing phase. They have not yet been definitively implemented as standalone core profiles (separate Launch Profiles), but they lay the crucial groundwork for the future modular division of the project.

📥 Installation Guide

1. Download the Release:
2. Transfer to Device: Place the downloaded file into the ARCHIVE folder on either SD1 or SD2.
3. Open Archive Manager: On your console, navigate to Applications ➔ Archive Manager inside muOS.
4. Execute Install: Select the downloaded file and launch the installation process.

📖 Usage Guide

1. Navigate to Content: Open Content Explorer from the main muOS menu.
2. Locate Your Games: Browse to the directory where you stored your Nintendo GameCube or Nintendo Wii ROMs.
3. Assign Core Profile: Match the game (or folder) with one of the available Dolphin core profiles.
4. Launch & Play: Boot up the title and test the performance!

⚠️ Important Note on Exiting the Emulator:
Dedicated in-core hotkeys to directly exit Dolphin are not fully operational yet. To exit safely without risking corruption, use the native muOS safe restart shortcut:
L2 + R2 + SELECT (Safe Console Reboot).
