RTX Encore 1.4.4
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: fixes colored grain and green artifacts from Neural Rendering. The issue can also affect SDR output and is not limited to visibly dark areas. The NR effect is intentionally reduced in the darkest shadows to preserve the original image. Thanks to @DangerousBerries for the report (#80).
- Where Winds Meet and Direct3D NR compatibility: fixes Neural Rendering failing to start when a game includes an older shader compiler. Keep the game's original files; renaming or replacing its compiler is not required. Thanks to @mikotorz for the report (#85).
- Hub 1.4.2 detects Where Winds Meet's game executable and requires uncertain installation destinations to be confirmed.
The maintainer confirmed the Avatar improvement in the tested scene and NR working in Where Winds Meet on test builds. These confirmations do not cover every scene or configuration, and the final 1.4.4 binaries have not been separately retested in game. Local automated tests cover NR color reconstruction and Direct3D shader compatibility. Image quality, performance and temporal stability are not generally qualified. Intel XeSS / XeFG and Pre-SR remain experimental.
