Theater mode, a shuffle that stops following you between queues, and fixes for
the window taking five seconds to appear.

New features

  • Theater mode: a fullscreen view of the current album, cover and transport on one side, lyrics on the other. Open it from the titlebar, close it with Esc.
  • Search suggestions and the Ctrl+K palette now have the ⋯ menu every other result has, so you can queue a song without running the full search first.
  • Keep shuffle on across queues in Settings ▸ Playback. Shuffle now applies to the queue you turned it on for, and opening an album or playlist starts unshuffled unless you enable this.

Bug fixes

  • The window took five seconds to appear on launch. It now shows as soon as the app is ready.
  • The app only checked for updates once at startup, so closing to tray meant never hearing about a new release. It now checks every six hours.
  • The search suggestions panel no longer reopens over whatever you were looking at when the window regains focus.
