Write is now available for Linux.
Recommended: download org.projectluma.Write.flatpakref below and open it with your software installer, or run:
flatpak install --user https://dl.simplyluma.com/apps/org.projectluma.Write.stable.flatpakref
flatpak run org.projectluma.Write//stableGTK, Luma UI, fonts, and the LibreOffice document engine install automatically. You do not need a separate LibreOffice installation or a Luma account.
Portable: extract Write-0.1.0-linux-x86_64.tar.zst and run Write-0.1.0-x86_64/Write. This includes the full runtime; keep the folder together.
This release supports x86_64 Linux, DOCX and ODT editing, legacy DOC import, images, comments, and PDF export. Mac, Windows, and Android builds are not included.
SHA256SUMS verifies the release files. The source archives provide Write, its qualified shared toolkit, the LumaUI icon assets, and the corresponding sources for the bundled runtime.
