Zed Customization Settings

These are the settings I use for Zed.

Prerequisites

• Install the S-Dark theme.
• Install the Charmed Icons extension for icons.

How to open your Zed settings.json

1. Open the Command Palette — Cmd+Shift+P (macOS) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Linux/Windows).
2. Type open settings file and select zed: open settings file. This opens the raw JSON config directly (different from Cmd+, / Ctrl+,, which opens the visual Settings Editor instead).
3. By default the file lives at ~/.config/zed/settings.json (or $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/zed/settings.json on Linux, if that variable is set).

Please back up your current settings.json before applying this one. Pasting this in replaces the whole file, so anything you've already customized will be gone unless you've saved a copy first.
