Mod Name
Voxy 1.21.1 fabric
Mod Homepage
https://github.com/m3t4f1v3/voxy/tree/mc_1211
Minecraft version
1.21.1
Describe the bug
Using Big Globe and Voxy with Sinytra Connector (beta 12) causes incorrect biome colors in the LODs, resulting in jagged color transitions.
Steps to reproduce
1. Install Prerequisites
Install the following mods (^ means fabric mod):
2. Enable a voxy-compatible shader
Before going into a world, go into | options > video settings > shader packs |, and enable a voxy-compatible shader. I use Photon v1.3b available in modrinth, however I believe Solas and Noble are fine alternatives.
3. Load into a world
Generate some LODs. You may notice incorrect color transitions.
4. OPTIONAL: Install Resourcepacks
This is most noticeable with a resource pack. I first noticed this issue with Reimagined (https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/reimagined/version/v1.62.2), however I believe this works for any resource pack that changes biome colors
...
I have attached images to see the issue. One without a resource pack, and one with.
It is seen that both images show invalid color transitions or biome colors compared to the non-lods
Logs
Logs: https://mclo.gs/Mr9IDjq Debug: https://mclo.gs/sk8Hb5C
Additional context
Currently running Neoforge 21.1.227 on MC 1.21.1. I used some initial mods for the resource pack I used
- Entity Texture Features
- Entity Model Features
- Continuity
- Polytone
Also, it's worth noting that due to a current issue with Connecter and Big Globe (Builderb0y/BigGlobe#88), I'm currently using beta 12 and not 14.
Edit: This seems to extend past Big Globe, affecting other terrain mods like lithosphere and biome-modifying mods. Had similar discoloration with the still life mod.
