History / Delivery check

Revisions

  • Document the default location asked for before an item is created Unpacking now insists on a default location for every item it is about to create: the visual check gets an extra step listing them, the + button and + Item ask right at the line.

  • Document cancelled lines, shortfall confirmation and the − button The − button in the delivery check now books out again instead of only moving the counter, so the pages that described the old behaviour were actively misleading. Delivery-check also gained the two ways a delivery can come up short: Picnic cancelling a line up front, and a pack simply not turning up. Ordering explains why a cancelled line is suggested again — Picnic marks the cancellation on the delivery, never on the order line, so the line itself looks perfectly ordinary. Journal documents the new "Not delivered" booking type, and Stock notes that the delivery check's − button is the one place that deliberately bypasses FEFO.

  • Add the English user guide 15 pages: getting started, everyday use (stock, scanning, stocktake, items), cooking (recipes, meal plan), Picnic (ordering, delivery check), administration (journal, storage locations, users, account) and a troubleshooting FAQ, plus a sidebar for navigation. Deliberately not a mirror of the menu: it explains what you would otherwise learn by trial and error — why batches carry their own dates, that booking out always follows FEFO across locations, that the delivery counter books on + but only counts on −, why locations are retired instead of deleted, and that the basket is filled but never ordered.
