Delivery check

When the Picnic crates arrive, this page turns unpacking into booking: check off what is there and it lands in stock in the same motion.

Picking a delivery

Check delivery lists your recent deliveries with date, total and status (On the way, Delivered, Cancelled). Open one to get the checklist of what was ordered.

Products already in your catalogue show with their own picture; the rest use Picnic's.

Three ways to confirm

Scan — hold the barcode to the camera. The line is matched by its Picnic ID, you pick location and best-before date, and Book in & next books one pack and returns to the scanner. This is the way that also captures best-before dates.

The + button on a line books one pack immediately, into the item's default location (or the fallback you chose), without a date.

Visual check — Confirm all N open lines books everything still open in one go. Each item goes to its own default location; those without one go to the location you pick in the panel. Fast, but no best-before dates.

Unknown products are created for you

If a delivered product is not in your catalogue yet, Proviant creates the item automatically from Picnic — with name, pack size, picture and the Picnic link already set. This happens with the + button and with the visual check, so unpacking never stalls on paperwork. EANs are not included; Picnic does not supply them. Scan the item once later and it is complete.

The counter

The bar at the top shows n of m packs checked. It is a checklist counter, not stock:

• The + button books into stock and raises the counter.
• The − button only lowers the counter — it books nothing out. Miscounted and want to correct stock? Do that in the storage location or via Stocktake.

When everything is checked, the page says so and offers a link back to Stock.

Partial and cancelled deliveries

The delivery list contains no line items; Proviant loads each delivery separately. Open deliveries are determined by exclusion (anything not completed or cancelled), because partial orders can be cancelled individually. If a delivery looks incomplete, that is usually Picnic's own split, not a bug.

What it leaves behind

Every booking lands in the Journal with source Delivery, so you can reconstruct later what came in on which day.
