ATLAS v0.1.8
ATLAS Browser 0.1.7
Fixed
- Prevents a website from repeatedly saving the same filename from one browser tab.
- Cancels duplicate attempts for ten minutes before a new file path is created.
This release contains no user profiles, browser sessions, credentials, downloads, usage history, or local settings.
ATLAS Browser v0.1.6
Local Usage Ledger\n\n- Adds a provider-neutral local usage ledger with hourly remaining-usage history, reset detection, and 12-month Brotli-compressed retention.\n- Keeps the usage monitor running after the window is hidden to the system tray.\n- Fixes the project list boundary above the agent-usage footer.
ATLAS v0.1.5
Accent color and favicon defaults
ATLAS now lets each local profile choose a custom accent color in Settings → Appearance. The setting updates ATLAS highlights, buttons, glows, controls, and progress indicators without changing project or bookmark colors.
New URL tabs now use the website favicon automatically. A tab icon can still be changed to any searchable emoji, and existing emoji choices are preserved.

ATLAS v0.1.4
Sidebar scrolling fix
Only the project list scrolls when the sidebar fills up. The ATLAS title, project search, navigation buttons, and Agent Usage Remaining bar stay in place. Project rows retain their full height, with a thin neon-purple scrollbar and room for selection highlights.
This patch preserves the features and fixes from v0.1.3. Release installers start with a clean local profile; no maintainer profiles, settings, projects, or sign-ins are included.

ATLAS v0.1.3
ATLAS 0.1.3 — Window recovery and agent resilience
This maintenance release addresses a Linux desktop failure that can leave ATLAS running without a visible window, and prevents Codex connection failures from taking down the browser.
What changed
- GNOME X11 recovery: Detects a missing system window-frame helper on the current display and restarts it when needed. Healthy helpers are left alone. Recovery is bounded to three attempts per five minutes and does not restart your desktop or change monitor settings.
- Resilient Codex connections: Broken pipes and missing executables fail cleanly. Pending requests are rejected, stalled requests time out, and events from an old process cannot disconnect its replacement.
- Stronger release privacy checks: Source and packaged-app audits reject credentials, browser storage, databases, and agent caches. Packaged files of all sizes are checked for sensitive markers.
- Verified clean first launch: Automated packaged tests check for the generic onboarding profile, an empty workspace, no prior conversation messages, and no website cookies.

Release packages contain no maintainer profile, projects, browsing history, sign-ins, or personal settings. A new installation creates its own local profile. Checksums are provided in SHA256SUMS.txt; GitHub build attestations accompany the installers.
Linux recovery applies only to GNOME on X11 and requires the system-provided mutter-x11-frames, xprop, and pgrep. It can be disabled with ATLAS_LINUX_WINDOW_RECOVERY=0. Other platforms and desktop environments retain their existing behavior.
ATLAS 0.1.x remains a public preview. See the README for installation guidance and current platform limitations, and the changelog for release history.
ATLAS v0.1.2
ATLAS v0.1.1 (superseded)
Superseded by ATLAS v0.1.2.
Downloadable binaries were retired after CodeQL identified request-boundary hardening required in the web-preview server. The findings are fixed in v0.1.2; the source tag remains available for transparent project history.
ATLAS v0.1.0 (superseded)
Superseded by ATLAS v0.1.2.
Downloadable binaries were retired after release-pipeline and request-boundary hardening. The source tag remains available for transparent project history.
