CMPCodeDatabase is a purpose-built manager for game “code databases” that makes finding, previewing, and applying patches fast and mistake-proof. It auto-discovers your database folders on startup (creates Files/, Files/Database/, Files/Tools/ if missing) and provides one-click buttons to open the default Database and Tools download pages. The Games/Code trees support true file grouping (e.g., ^4 = FILE: blocks), mods-aware placeholders (including “-M-” rules) with guided, top-to-bottom/left-to-right fill order, and an in-place code preview that highlights the current MOD token as you enter values (including special [Amount:…] prompts). You can reload everything at any time with ReloadDB, right-click to open the underlying files, and add items to the Collector. Patch execution is selected via DBCFG (with a safe fallback), and Settings lets you customize the default links and behavior—so the app goes from zero to fully usable in a couple of clicks, while keeping code entry accurate and organized
