CMPCodeDatabase v1.06.4
CMPCodeDatabase – DPI & Text Size UI Scaling Fix
This release focuses on improving UI behavior on high-DPI displays (ex: 200% scaling / 4K / touch screens) and when Windows Accessibility > Text size is increased (ex: 160%+). The goal is to stop windows and dialogs from being cut off, overlapping, or becoming hard to use on different setups.
What’s Updated
- Improved High-DPI handling – Better behavior across different monitors and scaling levels.
- Windows “Text size” compatibility – UI now scales more reliably when system text is enlarged.
- More resilient layouts – Key screens now reflow/size correctly instead of clipping labels, buttons, or headers.
UI Fixes Included
- Main Window
- Improved scaling so the Games / Codes / Code Preview areas don’t get hidden or pushed off-screen at large text sizes.
- Buttons (ex: Reload DB / Expand controls) now size correctly with larger fonts.
- Selection UI (Select SECTION / Select … <*ITEMID>)
- Fixed DataGridView header clipping (ex: VALUE / NAME) when Windows Text size is increased.
- Grid header height now adapts to larger fonts.
- Amount Dialogs (AMOUNT SLOT NUMBER / AMOUNT Quality)
- Buttons and dialog sizing now adapt properly at large Text size (no more clipped/stacked buttons).
- Dialog height/spacing adjusts to keep controls visible and readable.
- Settings Window
- Fixed layout issues at high DPI / Text size (paths and URLs no longer collide with Browse / OK / Cancel).
- Improved scaling so everything stays readable and clickable on touch/high-DPI displays.
Why This Matters
- Prevents “cut off” UI on high-resolution and touch monitors.
- Makes the app usable when Windows text is enlarged for accessibility.
- Reduces layout issues across mixed-DPI / multi-monitor setups.
If you still find a window that doesn’t scale correctly, please include a screenshot and your Windows Display scaling + Text size values so it can be patched quickly.
