OptiScaler DLSS 5 is now built into Prism: DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on DirectX 12 in one click, for a fraction of its usual cost and with no ReShade needed.
Install: Prism-Setup-1.3.0.exe (installer) or Prism-1.3.0-win-x64.zip (portable). Prism 1.1 and later updates itself from Settings ▸ Updates.
New
- OptiScaler DLSS 5, in one click. A new DLSS 5 path, recommended on DirectX 12: the optimised
OptiScaler forkSkynizz/optiscaler-dlss5. The
model runs before DLSS Super Resolution and an edit cache reuses its work between frames: in
Control Resonant (RTX 4070, 1440p) the Quality preset renders 46.7 fps against 34.4 for the stock
DLSS-NR pass, with less flicker. Install places the fork under a free proxy name (or in place of
an OptiScaler already loaded), its forwarder, anOptiScaler.inipreset to Quality, and the neural
runtime your GPU needs: the driver's own on RTX 50, the pinnedrhi-repobuild on RTX 20 to 40.
No ReShade, no Streamline. The archive is checked against its published SHA-256 and everything
goes in one transaction, so a failed step leaves the game untouched. Settings tuned in game are
kept on reinstall. A RenoDX DLSS add-on placed by Prism is set aside in the same step; Remove
puts everything back, the previous OptiScaler included. In game: Insert, then the DLSS 5 tab,
and F6 compares with the stock pass live. - The diagnostic flags OptiScaler's neural pass running next to a RenoDX DLSS add-on: the model
would run twice.
Changed
- On DirectX 12 the default DLSS 5 path is now OptiScaler DLSS 5. RenoDX DLSS · ShortFuse stays
recommended on DirectX 11.
