SlamPlates v1.0.0

The first official public release of SlamPlates.

SlamPlates is a modernized nameplate enhancement for Vanilla WoW / OctoWoW, built on top of ShaguPlates with additional support for SuperWoW.

This release represents the first stable version of the project. Earlier builds were internal development and testing versions and are not part of the public release history.

  • Reliable debuff timers across multiple enemies with the same name and level.
  • Friendly-player class-colored healthbars with clean white names.

  • Boss, Elite, Rare Elite, and Rare coloring.
  • Intelligent enemy castbar coloring.
  • Important-cast highlighting.
  • Separate crowd-control indicators.
  • NPC subtitles and subnames.
  • Learned NPC service labels such as Vendor, Repair, Trainer, Banker, and Flight Master.
  • Improved handling of pets, minions, guardians, and companions.
  • Configurable hostile-target enlargement from 100% to 200%.
  • Target enlargement applies only to enemy NPCs and attackable PvP-enabled players.
  • Optional Advanced module with an in-game minimap settings menu.

📦 Requirements

ShaguPlates is required and is not included in this download.

SuperWoW is strongly recommended for the complete GUID-aware feature set.

📥 Installation

  1. Install ShaguPlates.
  2. Download SlamPlates-1.0.0.zip.
  3. Extract the ZIP into your WoW Interface\AddOns folder.
  4. You should have:
Interface\AddOns\ShaguPlates
Interface\AddOns\SlamPlates
Interface\AddOns\SlamPlates-Advanced
  1. Launch the game and enable the addons.

SlamPlates-Advanced is optional and can be disabled if you only want the core SlamPlates experience.

⚙️ Configuration

SlamPlates works immediately after installation.

For additional customization, left-click the SlamPlates Advanced minimap button.

Advanced settings include quest coloring, classification colors, cast highlighting, CC indicators, NPC information, subtitles, and hostile-target enlargement.

Slash commands are also available through:

/slam
/slama

ShaguPlates by Shagu provides the underlying nameplate engine that made SlamPlates possible.

The visual direction of SlamPlates was inspired by the modern nameplate styling of Luxthos / Platynator, adapted for the Vanilla WoW / OctoWoW environment.

SlamPlates is an independent enhancement project and is not affiliated with those projects.
