Smartfire 2.0 runs on a Rust binary instead of Rails. Production switched over on 2026-10-05, and this tag marks the point where the Rails application left the repository.

  • Runtime: a single Rust binary that serves the same UI and the ActionCable-compatible live updates. SQLite storage is unchanged.
  • Migrations: run with campfire db-migrate, which the release script applies as an explicit step. Boot never migrates.
  • Images:
    • ghcr.io/smart-data-ohio/smartfire:2.0.0 (also latest), multi-arch amd64 and arm64, signed with cosign.
