App.RedefineContentType(ctx, schema, reason) and RedefineContentTypeVia (A459): replace a registered runtime-defined type's schema, in the store and in the running App, without a restart. A redefinition may loosen and add (label; a field's role, format, description and relation; required to optional; new optional fields). It refuses, as a validation error with nothing saved: removing a field, changing its type, making it required, adding a required field, and any url_prefix change. It writes a provenance record (subject ContentType, verb update, actor, surface, reason) and sends content_type.redefined on a new types topic and to webhooks. It applies to later writes in this process; existing items are not revalidated, and another process sees it after a restart.
Redefinitions in one App run one at a time, so two concurrent ones cannot drop each other's new field: the later one is checked against the earlier one's schema. The public GET {prefix} and GET {prefix}/{slug} routes of a runtime-defined type look the type up per request and serve a redefined schema at once.
A tool policy row redefine_content_type -> define-type, seeded on every boot, so an existing instance gains it on restart. No new operation word.
