v2.0.0-hub.1 — Hub integration fork

First release of the tts-lua-hub fork — a drop-in replacement for the original rolandostar/tabletopsimulator-lua-vscode (inactive since 2023-04) that shares a single TTS connection with the tts-toolkit CLI via the tts-hub daemon.

What's new (vs upstream 2.0.0-rc1)

  • Hub integration — connect to a tts-hub daemon on TCP 39997 (fan-out) instead of binding 39998. Outbound commands still go directly to TTS on 39999. Run the CLI, the extension, and any MCP-compatible AI agent at the same time — no more "close the official extension first".
  • Dual-mode fallback (ttslua.hub.fallback):
    • "prompt" (default) — only try the hub; show a status-bar hint when offline.
    • "bind" — probe 39998 for 500ms; fall back to upstream ServerTransport if hub is unreachable.
  • Updated api.json — TTS Lua API definitions bumped 13.2.1.1 → 14.0.3.2 (Berserk Games official source, byte-level round-trip verified).
  • Robust script tracking — _lastSentScripts persisted with sha256 checksum; filenames with dots in object names now resolve correctly.

Installation

Option A — VSIX (this release)

  1. Download tts-lua-hub-2.0.0-hub.1.vsix from the assets below.
  2. In VSCode: Ctrl+Shift+P → Extensions: Install from VSIX... → pick the file.
    Or from the terminal: code --install-extension tts-lua-hub-2.0.0-hub.1.vsix
  3. (Recommended) install tts-toolkit and run tts-hub before using the extension.

Option B — VSCode Marketplace (coming soon)

Will be published as Smirk1921.tts-lua-hub once Marketplace registration completes.

Configuration

{
  "ttslua.hub.host": "127.0.0.1",
  "ttslua.hub.port": 39997,
  "ttslua.hub.fallback": "prompt",      // or "bind"
  "ttslua.hub.reconnectMaxMs": 30000
}

Tests

  • 56 unit tests passing (JsonStreamDecoder 24 + ClientTransport 14 + ConnectionStateMachine 20, minus 2 overlaps).
  • tsc clean; webpack --mode development and --mode production clean.
  • 9 end-to-end verification scripts against a real tts-hub + TTS instance pass.
