v1.4.0 - The Automation & UI Overhaul Update

Welcome to version 1.4.0, our biggest update since launch! This major release focuses on quality-of-life improvements, bringing a completely redesigned user interface, automated game discovery, and graduating Intel Arc support from experimental to fully stable.

🚀 Major Features

  • Smart Library Scanner: Say goodbye to manual .exe selection. The manager now automatically scans your Steam, Epic Games, GOG, and Xbox/Windows Store libraries, displaying a sleek grid of all installed games compatible with DLSS 5 injection.
  • Completely Redesigned UI: A brand-new dashboard built from the ground up featuring Windows 11 Fluent Design, dark/light mode synchronization, and smoother animations.
  • Official Intel Arc Support: Intel GPU support has been moved out of the "Experimental" phase. Full Frame Generation and upscaling bypasses are now fully optimized for Intel Arc A-Series graphics cards.
  • Community Preset Hub: Download and apply community-tested injection profiles directly within the app. No more guessing which .dll version works best for a specific title.

⚙️ Under-the-Hood Improvements

  • Injection Engine 2.0: Completely rewrote the .dll hooking logic. The new method is 40% faster, drastically reduces game launch crashes, and handles protected folders (like WindowsApps) much better.
  • Compressed Backups: Original game files are now automatically compressed into .zip archives during the backup phase, saving up to 70% disk space in your AppData folder.
  • Telemetry Overlay (Beta): Added a lightweight, optional in-game overlay to monitor Frame Generation latency and native vs. generated FPS. Toggle with Ctrl+Shift+O.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the manager would fail to recognize games installed on external exFAT/FAT32 drives.
  • Resolved a memory leak that occurred when the application was minimized to the system tray for extended periods.
  • Fixed persistent resolution scaling glitches in Alan Wake 2 and Starfield when using AMD RX 7000 series cards.

⚠️ Upgrading Note

Important: Due to the new backup compression system, please click "Restore Original Files" on all currently modded games using v1.3.8 before upgrading to v1.4.0.

v1.3.8 - Game Compatibility Update & AMD Stability Fixes

This minor release addresses several stability issues reported by AMD users in the previous build and expands our automated injection support for recently updated game titles.

✨ What's New

  • Updated Binaries: The core DLSS 5 .dll repository has been updated to build 5.0.3, bringing minor overhead reductions for older RTX 20-series cards.
  • GOG Galaxy Integration: Added automatic game directory detection for GOG Galaxy installations (Steam and Epic Games are already supported).
  • Extended Game Support: Verified and added optimized injection profiles for Cyberpunk 2077 (v2.12) and Horizon Forbidden West.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • AMD Frame Gen Fix: Resolved a critical bug causing severe UI ghosting and flickering when enabling Frame Generation on AMD RX 6700 XT and 6800 XT GPUs.
  • Restore Feature Issue: Fixed an edge-case crash where clicking "Restore Original Files" would freeze the manager if the game directory was set to read-only.
  • Registry Cleanup: The uninstaller now properly clears leftover backup cache from AppData/Roaming/DLSS5-Unlocker.
