  • Every tool now has a title and declares whether it only reads or also writes files, so Claude can label and confirm actions correctly.
  • The manifest declares the privacy policy (https://localipdf.com/privacy/), and the README has a Privacy Policy section.
  • Includes the latest localipdf tools, including Word to PDF.

Install the same way as 0.1.0: open localipdf.mcpb in Claude Desktop, or extract localipdf-mcp.zip and register server.mjs.

First public release of the localipdf MCP package.

  • localipdf.mcpb: open it in Claude Desktop to install.
  • localipdf-mcp.zip: extract it for Claude Code, Codex or another local MCP client and register server.mjs.
  • SHA256SUMS: compare with shasum -a 256 after downloading.

Needs Node.js 20 or newer and Chrome, Edge, Chromium or Brave. Setup guide: https://localipdf.com/claude/
