Snapmaker Orca 2.4.0 发布，本版本主要更新内容有：模型选中高亮、LOD 层级细节系统、混色匹配自动模式颜色选择、高流量热端（High-Flow Hot End）参数支持、新增 6 款耗材丝及扩充颜色库、三项底层依赖大版本升级（OpenSSL 3.5.7 / macOS 构建环境 / Flutter 3.41）等

一、新增项

  1. 新增模型选中高亮显示，优化交互选择体验。

    • 选中模型时，显示最大包络框的同时，以白色高亮显示模型边缘。

  • 在装配环境下，选中模型时，以黄色高亮显示模型边缘。

  1. 新增 LOD（Level of Detail）层级细节系统，提升复杂场景下的模型渲染效率。

  2. 混色匹配中的自动模式新增颜色选择功能，用户可选耗材颜色。

二、优化项

  1. 整合并精简工艺预设列表。

    • 为简化工艺选择流程，本次更新对 Snapmaker U1 的工艺预设进行了精简合并。部分同层高但不同品质等级的预设（如“Fine”“High Quality”）已统一整合为“Standard”预设。

  1. 优化了较大模型在切片过程中的稳定性。

  2. 优化了 G-code 文件上传和打印的稳定性。

  3. 升级 OpenSSL 库至 3.5.7 版本，优化了网络通信的安全性与稳定性。

  4. 为“小区域流量补偿”功能的“流量补偿模型”参数增加了默认值，减少用户手动配置步骤。

  5. 更新应用图标及 Web 安装向导 / 主页 logo。

三、修复项

  1. 修复使用 GitHub 登录成功后，页面异常显示接口响应内容的问题。

  2. 修复 Windows 系统下，设备熄屏后导致 Orca 与设备联机状态异常的问题。

  3. 修复 Orca 联机失败时弹出异常对话框的问题。

  4. 修复使用第三方授权登录成功后，仍重复弹出登录提示窗的问题。

  5. 修复连续登录 24 小时后，系统异常弹出重新登录提示的问题。

  6. 缓解了各平台在弱网环境下，首页、设备页及预打印页出现白屏的问题（仅在2.4.0及以上版本生效）。

  7. 修复当支撑参数中的主体图案线距设置为 0，且支撑样式选择“混合树”时，切片进度卡在 70% 无法完成的问题。

  8. 修复重复导入同一 G-code 文件时，模型渲染失败的问题。

  9. 修复在 G-code 预览中换层点显示不正确的问题。

  10. 修复由 Orca Slicer 切片生成的多色 G-code 文件导入后颜色信息丢失，以及在 G-code 预览界面切换耗材时崩溃的问题。

  11. 修复对曾勾选“有机树”支撑样式后又关闭该选项的 3MF 文件进行切片时，软件崩溃的问题。

  12. 修复对模型进行涂色时，因颜色数据越界导致切片崩溃的问题。

  13. 修复切换喷嘴后新增耗材，再切回原喷嘴时修改耗材类型或颜色导致软件崩溃的问题。

  14. 修复 Snapmaker PETG HF 在 0.4 mm 喷嘴下无官方颜色配置的问题。

  15. 修复在 0.4 mm 喷嘴下，Snapmaker PETG HF 耗材点击色块时仍显示旧色盘的问题。

  16. 修复因配置文件(hints.ini)内容缺失导致软件无法启动的问题。

四、升级注意事项

建议 Snapmaker 设备固件升级至 2.0.0 或更高版本后，再更新本版。

Snapmaker Orca 2.4.0 Release Notes

Snapmaker Orca 2.4.0 has been released. The main updates in this version include: highlighting for selected models,, the LOD (level-of-detail) system, automatic color selection for color-match mixing mode, High-Flow Hot End parameter support, 6 new filaments plus an expanded color library, and three major underlying dependency upgrades (OpenSSL 3.5.7 / macOS build environment / Flutter 3.41), among others.

New Features

  1. Added Highlight-on-Select for models to improve interaction experience

    • When a model is selected, its bounding box is displayed and its edges are highlighted in white.

  • In assembly mode, the selected model's edges are highlighted in yellow.

  1. Added LOD (Level of Detail) system to improve rendering efficiency in complex scenes.

  2. Added color selection in Auto Match Mode for Color Mixing Match. You can now select filament colors manually.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue where API response content was incorrectly displayed on the page after successful GitHub login.

  2. Fixed an issue on Windows where the device connection status became abnormal after the screen turned off.

  3. Fixed an issue where an unexpected error dialog appeared when Orca failed to connect to the device.

  4. Fixed an issue where the login prompt continued to appear after a successful third-party authorization login.

  5. Fixed an issue where the system incorrectly prompted for re-login after 24 hours of continuous login.

  6. Mitigated white screen issues on the Home page, Device page, and Preview page under weak network conditions on all platforms (effective only in 2.4.0 and later versions).

  7. Fixed an issue where slicing progress would hang at 70% when the base pattern spacing was set to 0 and the support style was set to "Tree Hybrid."

  8. Fixed an issue where model rendering failed when repeatedly importing the same G-code file.

  9. Fixed an issue where layer change points were displayed incorrectly in the G-code preview.

  10. Fixed an issue where color information was lost when importing multi-color G-code files generated by Orca Slicer, and where the software crashed when switching filaments in the G-code preview interface.

  11. Fixed an issue where the software crashed when slicing a 3MF file that had previously enabled the "Organic" support style but had it disabled afterward.

  12. Fixed an issue where the software crashed during slicing due to color data overflow when painting models.

  13. Fixed an issue where the software crashed when modifying filament type or color after switching nozzles, adding new filaments, and switching back to the original nozzle.

  14. Fixed an issue where Snapmaker PETG HF had no official color configuration under the 0.4 mm nozzle.

  15. Fixed an issue where the old color palette was still displayed when clicking the color swatch for Snapmaker PETG HF under the 0.4 mm nozzle.

  16. Fixed an issue where the software failed to launch due to missing content in the hints.ini file.

  17. Fixed an issue on macOS where models opened from Snapmaker Space links were dropped.（#851 / #852）Thanks to @KuzuriAo

  18. Fixed an occasional crash when sending a print job.

  19. Fixed a crash when opening the preset comparison (diff) dialog.

  20. Fixed abnormal loading of embedded web pages on macOS.

  21. Fixed the Home / Device pages failing to render (blank screen) on macOS.

  22. Fixed calibration failures caused by mismatched configuration value types.

Upgrade Notes

We recommend upgrading the device firmware to 2.0.0 or higher before installing this version.
