Fairy Ring & Pooka
Fairy Rings were added in update 0.3.
Fairy Rings are a rare structure that generates in Dark Forests. They have a default average spacing of 24 chunks and minimum spacing of 4 chunks. When they generate, they affect the land below them so they are not obstructed. They also prevent trees and huge mushrooms from generating in their vicinity. They consist of a ring of Fairy Ring Mushrooms with a radius of 5 blocks. One of the Fairy Ring Mushrooms in the rings is replaced by a Huge Fairy Ring Mushroom.
Pooka spawn inside the structure on Grass Blocks in groups of 2 to 3.
Fairy Ring Mushrooms are generated in Fairy Rings.
They can be found in 4 stages, having mushrooms ranging from 1 to 4. They emit Fairy Spore particles and a light level of (11 + number of mushrooms). They can be placed in a flower pot. Potted Fairy Ring Mushrooms emit a light level of 12.
They grow on their own over time and can be sheared to pluck mushrooms from it. Fairy Ring Mushrooms can be used to increase the number of mushrooms in a block. They can be dusted with Redstone Dust to prevent them from growing. Bone meal can be used to advance their growth and to grow Huge Fairy Ring Mushrooms. A fully grown Fairy Ring Mushroom on blocks in the block tag minecraft:mushroom_grow_block has a higher chance to become a Huge Fairy Ring Mushroom when Bone Meal is used.
If Farmer's Delight is installed, they work as Compost activators.
They are 10-16 block tall with the cap being 6 blocks tall. They can rarely be twice as tall as usual. They are made out of Fairy Ring Mushroom Blocks, Fairylight & Fairy Ring Mushroom Stem.
It emits a Fairy Spore particles and a light level of 15. When Enhanced Mushrooms is installed, it can be broken with a shear for the appropriate drops.
It emits a light level of 15.
When Enhanced Mushrooms is installed, during generation, it is replaced by Enhanced Fairy Ring Mushroom Stem, which functions exactly as a wood type in Enhanced Mushrooms does, with the exception of not having Extra Boats compatibility.
A Fairy Ring Mushroom surrounded by 8 iron nuggets in a crafting table results in a Fairy Spore Lantern. It emits Fairy Spore particles and a light level of 12.
A Fairy Ring Mushroom can be crafted together with a bowl, a red mushroom and a brown mushroom to make a Suspicious Stew. A Fairy Ring Mushroom can also be fed to a Brown Mooshroom to get a Suspicious Stew when it is milked.
The Suspicious Stews obtained can be of one of these types:

Pooka can be pacified by feeding them Golden Carrots as long as they are not near any hostile Pooka. This grants the advancement Fae Whisperer. Each attempt has a 20% chance of pacification for an adult and 80% for a child. Pacified Pooka have vertical eyes akin to regular Rabbits. Pacified Pooka will not attack players and will avoid Wolves and Iron Golems. If any player hurts them directly or indirectly, they will become hostile again. Hurting any Pooka (hostile or pacified) in the vicinity of Pacified Pooka will also cause them to become hostile again. After they have been turned hostile, they have a 10 minute timer before they can be pacified again. Feeding Golden Carrots while the timer is active reduces the time left by 10%. This timer is also activated when a Rabbit is turned into a Pooka. Feeding a pacified Pooka a Golden Carrot will heal it.
Pooka can be bred using Fairy Ring Mushrooms regardless of whether they have been pacified. The child will only be pacified if both of their parents are. Pacified Pooka can be sheared to turn them back into Rabbits.
A pacified Pooka will follow the player if they are holding either a Golden Carrot or a Fairy Ring Mushroom. While following the player, if it is an adult, it has a 3.33% chance per tick to apply its "aid effect" to the player.
The pacification, breeding and follow items can be changed by changing the items in the following tags: habitat:pooka_pacification_food, habitat:pooka_breeding_food and habitat:pooka_food.
