  • The map compressor is now bundled in the Chimera release. The Windows XP version has a 32-bit build that works on Windows XP and higher, the regular Chimera release has a faster 64-bit build.
  • Fixed an issue where Chimera would not load settings from chimera.ini if the Windows system code page was set to UTF-8. As a result of this fix, if the system code page is UTF-8 or you enable UTF-8 for Halo with a "side car" manifest, you can use characters like emoji in chimera.ini paths, names, and hotkey commands.
