SocietyPress 1.1.11

SocietyPress 1.1.11 — the first release since 1.0.1, covering roughly 400 commits of work.

If your themes have been showing an update that never goes away, this release is the fix.

The themes gallery could offer an update, accept the click, report success, and then show the
same update again. The gallery was reading version numbers carried inside the plugin, while the
Update button could only install files from the most recent published release — and there had
not been one since June. The gallery kept offering a version no download could deliver.

The gallery now only offers what a download can actually install, and an update will refuse to
replace a theme with an older copy of itself rather than going backwards silently.

Publishing this release is also the other half of the fix: it gives every in-plugin updater
something current to install.

catalog options, vertical files, the SP-native menu editor, the photo and video module, GDPR
coverage and the rest — is detailed in CHANGELOG.md.

Upgrading: update the plugin first, then update each theme from SocietyPress → Themes.
