🎉 System Monitor v0.3.0 - Process Monitoring & Intelligent Scaling

Major Update: Smart System Monitoring

This release introduces intelligent process monitoring with adaptive display scaling, making System Monitor practical for systems ranging from 4 to 128+ CPU cores.

✨ What's New

📊 Process Monitoring

  • Top Processes by CPU - See which processes consume the most processing power
  • Top Processes by Memory - Identify memory-hungry applications
  • Real-time Updates - Process information refreshes in watch mode
  • Smart Formatting - Automatic memory unit conversion (MB/GB)

🖥️ Intelligent CPU Display

  • Compact Mode (Default) - Shows only top 3 busiest cores
  • Detailed Mode (--detailed) - Shows all cores individually
  • Scalable Design - Works great with 4 cores or 128+ cores
  • Core Count Display - Always shows total core count

🎛️ Enhanced CLI

  • --detailed Flag - Toggle between compact and detailed views
  • Flexible Combinations - Works with --watch and --interval
  • Better Documentation - Improved --help output

Compact Mode (Default)

Perfect for quick monitoring and systems with many cores:

CPU: 34.5% (8 cores) [██████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░]
  Top 3: Core 0 (52%) Core 4 (48%) Core 7 (46%)

Top 5 Processes (by CPU):
   1. firefox.exe PID 1234 25.2% 2.5 GB
   2. chrome.exe PID 5678 15.1% 1.8 GB
   3. Code.exe PID 9012 10.4% 1.2 GB

Detailed Mode

Full visibility when you need it:

CPU: 34.5% (8 cores) [██████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░]
  Core 0: 52.0% [███████████░░░░]
  Core 1: 48.0% [██████████░░░░░]
  Core 2: 35.0% [███████░░░░░░░░]
  ...all cores shown...

Top 10 Processes (by CPU):
