Version 5.1 refines the WinForms interface for smoother rendering and more
comfortable everyday use while preserving full compatibility with existing
configurations, preferences, and backups.
Highlights
- Rebalanced the dark theme with softer charcoal surfaces, quieter borders,
less-saturated teal accents, and readable disabled controls. - Removed the confusing width/height separator and aligned both custom fields
in a clean two-column layout. - Replaced glitch-prone rounded action buttons with stable flat controls.
- Removed window-wide compositing that caused severe hover flicker and added
targeted double buffering to layout containers. - Improved rounded-card antialiasing, DPI readability, focus feedback, and
control density. - Added regression coverage for contrast, high-contrast colors, layout,
disabled actions, antialiased cards, and repaint behavior. - Preserved all 43 presets, aspect-family defaults, atomic updates, encoding
preservation, Steam discovery, preferences, and backup recovery.
