Prepare some stuff

What you will need

  The same things as in the Getting Started Page.

Step 1

  Go to the Package manager in Windows simply click on the Magnifying glass on the bottom left and Write Package Manager.

Step 2

  Press on the Blue icon with the box.

Step 3

  Go to the Extenson SDK and scroll to `Samsung Certificate Extension` Select it and click on the Install button next to it.

Step 4

  Wait until it installs.

Step 5

  Go on the Magnifying glass and Write Certificate Manager.

Step 6

  Press on the blue icon with the Medal.

Step 7

  Press the + Button next to the `Certificate Profile` text.

Step 8

  Press on the Samsung logo.

Step 9

  Select Mobile / Wearable and press Next.

Step 10

  Enter how you want to name the profile and click Next.

Step 11

  Select Create New author certificate.

Step 12

  Fill in the Fields the Password field is for a new Password (I suggest to create a brand new password for this you can generate it but make sure no Ambigious Symbols are in the Password) and press Finish.

Step 13

  Go to visual studio and edit the .csproj file.

Step 14

  Add a few new lines with
  `<PropertyGroup>``<AuthorPath>The path to the Author certificate</AuthorPath><AuthorPass>The new Password</AuthorPass><DistributorPath>The path to the Distributor certificate</DistributorPath><DistributorPass>The new password</DistributorPass></PropertyGroup>` more info on https://developer.tizen.org/forums/general-support/check-certificate-error-12-failed
