- Hoard updates itself. Settings has a new Updates section. Check now asks GitHub whether there's
a newer version. In the Windows app installed withHoard-Setup, Update to then downloads the new
installer, checks it, closes Hoard, installs it and opens Hoard again. Your settings, library, sign-ins and
downloads stay as they are. Hoard only runs an installer whose SHA-256 matches both the release's
SHA256SUMS-windows.txtand the checksum GitHub lists for the file, and it won't update in the middle of a
refresh or download. The portable zip and Hoard run with Python say there's a newer version and link to it. - Check for updates automatically, off unless you turn it on: Hoard asks GitHub once a day, when it starts,
and shows Update to at the bottom of the page when there's a new version. A check sends GitHub nothing but
the request itself (GitHub sees your IP address, as with any website). The privacy notes say so.
