BoBe 0.8.1 for Mac.

Requires macOS 26 or later on a Mac with Apple Silicon, and a model: an API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, OpenRouter), a Rail Relay token, a supported provider sign-in (OpenAI, GitHub Copilot), or Ollama on your own machine.

Install: download BoBe-0.8.1.dmg, open it and drag BoBe to Applications.

Updating from 0.2.0: BoBe starts fresh. On the first launch, 0.8.1 deletes the conversations and settings that 0.2.0 kept and opens setup again. Macs with macOS 14 or 15 stay on 0.2.0.

Linux (x86_64): bobe-daemon-0.8.1-linux-x86_64.tar.gz is the standalone daemon, built on Ubuntu 24.04. It runs on Ubuntu 24.04 or later. Ubuntu is not release-qualified yet, so treat Linux as a development target. Extract the archive and run its install.sh (guide). A standalone daemon updates with bobe update apply and the .manifest.json and .manifest.json.sig files of the same release.
