BearBrowser v150.0.1 — first stable

A sovereign, privacy-first browser: a LibreWolf-mirror fork of Firefox 150 built to be the most private browser you can run.

Highlights

  • BearNet — a built-in loopback network monitor. See every host this browser (or the whole machine) is talking to as a live graph + world map, with click-to-block and on-demand OSINT (RDAP / reverse-IP / certificate transparency). All geolocation is resolved from a local GeoIP database — no external lookups, so the browser never leaks the IPs it's connected to just to draw a map.
  • BearTrap honeypot — detects and attributes fingerprinting scripts, and blocks canary-token exfiltration outright (not just detection — it cancels the leaking request).
  • Hardened anti-fingerprinting on top of Firefox's resistFingerprinting.
  • No telemetry, no Google services, no cloud dependency — fully local-first.
