The installed app checks GitHub Releases for a newer version once per launch. If one's found, it shows a confirmation dialog before doing anything — nothing downloads or installs without you clicking Update Now.
- If the engine is running when an update is found, it tells you to stop the engine first rather than interrupting it.
- Once confirmed, it downloads the new installer, quits, reinstalls silently (this replaces the program files under the install directory; your rules and captured images in
%APPDATA%\PixelPulse\are untouched), and reopens automatically.
