Note

The rolling testing channel. It always carries the newest test build: now v0.2.1-test.4, commit 6b30736.

Warning

Testing build 4 of 0.2.1. Only players who turned on testing builds receive it; everyone else stays on the stable release.

Important

Nothing in this build has been verified in game yet. It is built and tested without the game; entries under not yet verified in game say exactly that, and move to New once they have been seen working.

In this build, not yet verified in game

  • The MCP server and the companion client are on MCP SDK 2.2 (from 1.30). Clients speaking the new 2026-07-28 protocol get the same approve/decline form for change and destructive tools, sent back with the result instead of as a request of its own; one approval runs one call, and a declined, cancelled, unanswered (10 minutes) or replayed approval runs nothing. Tested with the MCP SDK's own client only, not yet with Claude Code or Codex on 2.2.
  • ai code now starts Claude Code on your local model by default instead of Codex: over six red-to-green tasks on the P4000 both passed all six, Claude in 302 seconds against 518. ai code --tool codex (or coder under [local]) still picks Codex, and whichever tool is missing falls back to the other.

Install

  1. In game, open /xlsettings → Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories, add https://spacegho.st/mods/ffxiv/plugins.json, press +, then Save and close.
  2. Still in Experimental, turn on Get plugin testing builds.
  3. Open /xlplugins, search for Almanac and install it. Already installed: right-click it → Receive plugin testing versions, then update.
