This is a release candidate, further changes might be applied before the final version is released.
We decided to bump this up to version 2.6.0 directly, because so many useful changes were made since 2.5.0.

Since 2.6.0-rc2:

  • Fixed bin file generator script
  • New languages: pl

Since 2.6.0-rc1:

  • Fixed led serial command
  • Improved web interface responsiveness
  • New languages: ko,uk

Since 2.5.0-rc2:

  • Reset settings by holding flash button for 5 seconds (connect GPIO-0 or D3 to GND).
  • Easy config selector with latest deauther arduino board package
  • Premade example configurations for display setups
  • Display 'scanning...' (on startup) and 'resetting...' (when using the flash button reset) on OLED
  • Support for upcoming Maltronics deauther
  • Dotstar APA-102 LED support
  • Moved required libraries inside of sketch folder to prevent missing dependency errors
  • New languages: in
  • Show green bar with 'connected' or red bar with 'disconnected' in web interface, instead of confusing error messages that pop up when loosing connection

A long awaited update that fixes and improves a couple of small issues.

Changes include:

  • Reworked config files and added support for new boards
  • Added new languages (es, fi)
  • Uses SimpleButton library now
  • Added fake clock feature on OLED
  • Default auto-start script will now scan for APs and client devices

This version includes a lot of code improvements and little bug fixes. No new features, just a bunch of fixes really.

This is an intermediate release with minor fixes and transparent changes. It is the first step to obtaining the certification for acting as remote DAAS (Deauth As A Service) IoT platform.

Upcoming features and fixes

What changed? Everything!

Notes

  • The 1mb file should be the choice for most users
  • Display support is now built in but disabled by default. Enable it go to the settings in the web interface or type set display true;;save over serial.
