Release list
Spacetile 1.0.0
Spacetile 1.0 ends the free public beta. Every feature works for 14 days from your first launch of 1.0, then tiling and profiles need a Licence. Buy one at spacetile.app.
New
- A 14-day Trial. It starts the first time you open 1.0, including if you used the beta.
- A Licence pane in Settings. Paste your Licence key there, or open the link in your Licence email to activate Spacetile in one click.
- Buy a Licence, with 12 months of updates, or Lifetime supporter, with every future update, from the Licence pane or the menu bar when the Trial ends.
- Renew from the Licence pane to add another 12 months of updates.
- When an update is newer than your Licence covers, the updater shows it marked "Renew to install", with a Renew button. Versions released while your Licence covered updates keep working.
- When tiling stops, the mini-map says why: Trial over, Licence key not valid, Licence revoked, or update window ended. Your windows stay where they are.
Improved
- Settings → Permissions & macOS is now called Permissions.
Fixed
- The mini-map's open button no longer shows a focus ring.
- The Capture Layout dialog said profiles load by themselves when their display becomes main. They only do with Apply automatically on, and the dialog now says so.
- The help for macOS tiling said Spacetile puts windows back when the setting is off. It leaves them where macOS put them, and the help now says so.

Spacetile 0.2.0
The first public release of Spacetile.
Spacetile is a window manager that works with your Mac. It tiles windows on the native Spaces you create in Mission Control, and keeps the drag and resize gestures you already know.
New
- Signed and notarized by Kodehort Ltd, so it opens without Gatekeeper warnings.
- Updates itself. Spacetile checks once a day and shows the release notes before installing. Check now with Check for Updates… in the menu bar panel or Settings → General.
- Pick a Channel in Settings → General: Stable, Beta for pre-releases, or Nightly for the latest build each day it changes.
