OpenCode 2.0.28 native Termux
OpenCode 2.0.28 for Termux
OpenCode 2.0.28 runs natively in Termux on Android ARM64. No PRoot is needed, and the command is still opencode.
Install in Termux:
curl -fsSL https://github.com/Spectra010s/opencode-termux/raw/v2.0.28/install.sh | shThen run opencode. The installer verifies the download and replaces the opencode binary in ~/.local/bin; it does not delete your chats, sign-ins, or settings. If you may return to v1, back up your OpenCode data first because v2 can migrate the session database.
To update later, run opencode upgrade. To see what uninstall would remove, run opencode uninstall --dry-run.
Tested on a Redmi Note 13 running Android 14. Testing and feedback from other devices are welcome.
The release includes checksums for the download. See the build guide if you want to build it yourself.
OpenCode 2.0.26 native Termux (prerelease 1)
OpenCode 2.0.26 for Termux
OpenCode v2 now runs directly in Termux on Android ARM64—no PRoot or glibc setup needed. The terminal interface, sign-in, sessions, and a real AI conversation worked on the test phone.
Install in Termux:
curl -fsSLO https://github.com/Spectra010s/opencode-termux/releases/download/v2.0.26-termux.1/install.sh
sh install.shThen run opencode. The installer downloads the compressed build, checks its SHA-256, and tells you what to do if the command is not on your PATH.
This is an early release for Android ARM64 (Android 9 or newer). It has been tested on one Android 14 phone, not across many devices. If you are switching from v1, back up your OpenCode data first because v2 can update the session database. Please report any startup or session problems in this repository's issues.
