We build AI systems for the conditions the world's technology routes around — and structure each one into an enterprise that sustains itself.
Most AI is built where data is abundant, infrastructure is reliable, and the market pays. Those conditions describe a small part of the world. Everywhere else, technology arrives late, arrives wrong, or doesn't arrive — not because the problems are unsolvable, but because no one with the tools is standing close enough to see them.
We build from inside the conditions we're building for.
Turaco TTS — in development
A text-to-speech system for Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, and Nigerian Pidgin. Millions of Nigerians are locked out of digital education, health information, and commerce because those systems only speak English. Voice removes the literacy barrier and the language barrier at once.

Agent X — MVP
An agentic platform for operating complex work. Nomad, its internal deployment, runs Spectre's own operations.
We build from inside the problem. Our work starts from conditions we live in, not from a research agenda set elsewhere.
We ship systems, not just papers. Everything we build is meant to be used by people who will never read a model card.
We share what we learn. Research, findings, and openings worth acting on — published so others can build, argue, and improve on them.
We make each one stand on its own. A pilot that dies when the funding ends has solved nothing. Every project is structured to sustain itself.
