SpendLess 1.3.3 is a compatibility and stability update focused on reliable project metadata for recent FL Studio versions.

FL Studio 25 and 26 project metadata

  • Fixed FL Studio 25 and 26 project streams losing alignment during parsing.
  • Restored the real BPM, title, artist, genre, creation date, and work time for affected projects.
  • Replaced heuristic event-size detection with deterministic FL Studio event rules.
  • Preserved unknown event data and byte-identical round trips for unchanged projects.

Project reliability

  • Updated the bundled ts-flp parser to version 1.0.6.
  • Added regression coverage for the FL Studio 26 project preamble and metadata layout.
  • Revalidated existing project parsing and conservative metadata updates across the private FLP fixture corpus.

macOS installation note

SpendLess is not yet signed. macOS Gatekeeper may block the first launch. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, and allow SpendLess. Accessibility permission is also required so SpendLess can read the FL Studio window title and detect the active project.

Automatic installation is not available on macOS yet. SpendLess will notify you when a future update is available and open the matching DMG download directly.
