Isolate test fixtures and remove CI `-p 1`

Embedding tests copy fixtures into the shared ../test/docs directory, the resolver cache is process-global, and CI still runs packages with -p 1. Move the writable fixtures to per-test temp directories, make cache state explicit, and then verify the suite.
