release v4.0.1020
A bugfix release. The headline fix stops team-filtered leagues from
downloading the whole league's schedule, which hit MLB users this week.
The larger work in progress stays on the dev branch and arrives in the
next feature release.

Downloads and matching

  • Team filtering no longer leaks other teams' games into one-team libraries when partial round data arrives from the metadata source. The first refresh of an affected league also removes the games that leaked in and unmonitors any it already downloaded, so the flood stops without touching your files
  • Scheduled searches no longer re-grab the same release for the same event over and over
  • A library import can't auto-match a file to an event from a different sport
  • Releases with unknown seed counts aren't silently dropped anymore, and clearing an indexer's categories now saves
  • The indexer category picker offers nested subcategories from the indexer's own list

Imports

  • Manual library imports honor "Use Hardlinks instead of Copy" instead of moving files off their seed path
  • Downloaded tags refresh right after a manual import, and the library scan now says why it skipped a file

UI

  • New quality profiles appear in league dropdowns without a page reload
  • Browsers stop pinning an outdated UI after updates

Windows

  • Fixed a startup crash when the single-instance mutex belonged to another account
  • The installer stops the running instance before upgrading, and double-clicking the app while the service runs opens the web UI

Upgrading: no manual steps. If you monitor specific teams and saw other teams' games downloading, refresh the affected league once after updating (or wait for the next scheduled sync) and it cleans itself up.
