What's New

  • TUI-powered setup — setup.sh now uses gum for spinners, multi-select, and styled prompts
  • Non-fatal installs — optional tool/SDK failures no longer abort the entire setup
  • Default editor prompt — when multiple editors are installed, prompts to pick a default
  • Timezone sync — container automatically inherits host timezone via /etc/localtime mount
  • Cleaner output — all installers wrapped in spinners, noisy output suppressed
  • .NET support — fixed with libicu-dev dependency and hardened motd detection

Testing

  • 55 automated e2e tests across 10 CI jobs (amd64 + arm64)
  • UAT checklist with 16 manual validation items
  • Full test automation via scripts/e2e-test.sh

Fixes

  • setup.sh no longer aborts when an optional tool install fails
  • Fixed gum spinner failing to run shell functions
  • Fixed EDITOR default and container lifecycle e2e test failures
  • Fixed npm spinner stderr suppression
