SpeechDuck Free Demo

A limited, free build of SpeechDuck so you can try real-time sidechain audio ducking on Stream Deck before buying — automatically lowers your music/game volume the instant you talk in the mic (or a conferencing app speaks), and brings it back up the moment you go quiet.

Install it side-by-side with the full plugin — different UUID, no conflicts.

What's included

  • Full ducking engine — same attack/sustain/release envelope math as the paid version
  • ~60Hz response time, no audible lag
  • One-key on/off toggle

Demo limitations

  • 1 trigger, 1 target (full version: unlimited)
  • English-only interface (full version: 9 languages — EN/DE/FR/ES/JA/KO/ZH-CN/ZH-TW/RU)
  • No live level meter — key shows a static line instead of the equalizer, and no separate "ducking in progress" state (on/off only)
  • Marked with a DEMO badge on the key so it's obvious at a glance

Install

  1. Download com.squierstream.speechduck.demo.streamDeckPlugin below
  2. Double-click it — Stream Deck will install it automatically
  3. Add the "Duck Toggle (Demo)" action to a key and configure your trigger/target in the settings panel
