TextFill – UI Version

This release contains the Mac and Windows UI version of TextFill.

Supported platform: Mac and Windows
Make sure to download the correct version according to your device.

Overview

TextFill provides text auto fill using custom shortcuts. When enabled, it monitors keyboard input and automatically replaces shortcuts defined by the user with their phrases.

Features

Add Shortcut
Creates a new shortcut by defining a key and its replacement text.

Remove Shortcut
Delete the selected shortcut

Modify Shortcut
Modify a key or a phrase of a selected shortcut

Settings
Contains multiple values that can be changed to help customize experience such as delay or type speed.

Notes

  • Shortcuts are saved locally on the device
  • Requires macOS Accessibility permission for keyboard monitoring and input control
  • If replacements do not work, enable permissions in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility
  • Also make sure to enable permissions in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring
  • App is a visible window, for a more streamlined version in the menu bar, download the menu bar version.
