Ghostty Studio v0.3 makes the settings editor calmer, clearer, and more at home on the desktop.

What’s new

  • Follow the system language by default, or switch instantly between Simplified Chinese and English without losing the current draft.
  • Browse the complete Ghostty 1.3.1 settings catalog with concise names and descriptions in both languages.
  • Stay focused on 29 reviewed settings that can be changed safely; other settings remain searchable and explain what is still needed.
  • Use a consistent desktop control system across color, number, range, switch, select, and language controls.
  • Enjoy cleaner alignment, spacing, keyboard focus, scrolling, dialogs, and responsive layouts.
  • Keep navigation and feedback in sync when changing languages or returning to a previous settings context.

Safer across Ghostty updates

  • Compatibility is evaluated per setting, so an unrelated Ghostty change does not lock the whole editor.
  • Normal edits and snapshot restores share the same type, range, and duplicate checks.
  • Protected and unknown configuration values remain outside the WebView.

As before, Ghostty Studio works locally, validates changes with Ghostty, preserves untouched content and formatting, and creates a snapshot before every write.

This remains an early preview. The app is ad-hoc signed rather than Developer ID signed or notarized, so macOS may ask you to confirm the first launch.
