pauseScript() on release 24.4

I just install release 24.4 on Windows11
I noticed that in the scripts the statement
core.pauseScript(),
has no effect, as if the statement were transparent.
I also noticed also that the key sequence
Ctrl+D, R (Resume script execution)
no longer exists in the Hotkey list.
This is embarrassing, how can it be resolved?

Ok, i have taken note of the situation.
How can I solve this problem?
Can you suggest me some solutions?

We are not working on a solution. Accept it. As long as we can, we also release Qt5-based builds with the deprecated QtScript.
