@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Oct 13:45

Task Relay 0.13.155

Mac beta with the current desktop workspace, universal request intake, new Codex
project tasks, Grasshopper definition authoring and the latest recovery fixes.
This release includes the merged desktop changes since 0.13.89.

What changed

  • Requests retain their outcomes, output counts, formats and validation criteria
before routing. Large work can use bounded stages and independent reviews.
Oversized or rejected provider replies remain available for read-only recovery.
  • Create new Codex tasks in saved projects, including projects without existing
chats. Original requests, selected files and uncertain submission receipts are
preserved; work starts only within the requested scope.
  • The desktop workspace brings jobs, workflow steps, results, review and version
history together. Shared plans retain their delivery channel, exact Start
decisions and recovery records. Saved work has reviewed removal and restoration.
  • Create new Grasshopper definitions in Rhino 7/8 on macOS with reviewed Python.
Native .gh and .ghx candidates are independently reopened and solved. Editing
existing definitions and visual/geometric fidelity are outside this operation.
  • Browser/computer work, reusable workflow procedures, research campaigns and
reviewed revisions retain bounded permissions and exact artifact handoffs.
  • Fix Codex attachment album continuations, migration of inert provider defaults,
and core startup without optional YAML support. Nondefault provider settings
still require migration review. Regression coverage is included in CI.

Install or upgrade

For Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later, download
Task-Relay-0.13.155-arm64.dmg. Quit Task Relay, replace the app in Applications,
and reopen it. Keep the same saved data folder.

Compatible apps from 0.13.26 onward can use Settings → App updates. Enable
Include beta releases, then Check for updates → Download update → Install and
restart. Earlier apps need the manual DMG installation and any offered service
handoff. The matching CLI source includes install.sh; a wheel does not update the app.

This is a locally signed beta without Apple Developer ID or notarization. It uses
the existing signing identity for compatible in-app updates. macOS may require
Privacy & Security → Open Anyway and refreshed permissions. No Windows or Intel
Mac installer is included. Native applications and optional renderers need their
own installation, access and qualification.

Validation scope

Controlled release validation passed 106 Python tests and 11 website/updater
JavaScript tests. Prior merged-source CI covers affected orchestration and
recovery contracts. Packaging checks
verify matching versions, bundled dependencies, exact runtime source hashes,
existing signing identity, image integrity and asset checksums. Grasshopper has
controlled and earlier fixed native-fixture qualification on Rhino 7/8; no new
installed-app Grasshopper run, paid provider job, messenger delivery, clean-host
installation or user acceptance is claimed by this release.

Task Relay 0.13.89 beta

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 21 Sep 12:10

Task Relay 0.13.89

Mac beta with typed workflow planning, stronger recovery, native model tools and
provider-independent local reel production. Includes the first-run planning fix
from 0.13.60 and accumulated updates since 0.13.54.

What changed

  • Workflow builders compile selected artifacts, operation contracts and review
reports into exact versioned handoffs. Attachments, image albums, source geometry
and completed-stage selections retain their identity across planning and recovery.
  • Confirmed failures have clearer, bounded continuation and correction paths.
Started plans return to their saved execution. Uncertain submissions are not
replayed, and changed scripts still require review, selection and a separate Start.
  • Shared API workers improve long-text delivery, source exposure and Gemini tool
reporting. Placeholder-only output cannot pass local delivery checks; human
selection and independent review remain required.
  • Rhino and Blender recovery preserve failed evidence and selected source models.
Standalone 3DM creation uses the bundled rhino3dm library, including reviewed
Python scripts and explicit Rhino archive versions. Library verification does
not imply native Rhino verification. The SketchUp adapter requires local host
    qualification before use.
  • Image sourcing supports browser discovery and bounded fallback while retaining
source provenance and explicit generated-image restrictions.
  • Ordinary reel requests can use a separately installed, qualified local
HyperFrames runtime. Providers author editable projects, preview them for review
and user selection, then render the exact selected project to MP4. Legacy scene
composition remains supported; optional renderer installation is not automatic.

Install or upgrade

For Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later, download
Task-Relay-0.13.89-arm64.dmg. Quit Task Relay, replace the app in Applications,
and reopen it. Keep the same saved data folder.

Apps from 0.13.26 onward can use Settings → App updates. Enable Include beta
releases, then Check for updates → Download update → Install and restart.
Earlier apps need the manual DMG installation and any offered service handoff.
The matching CLI source includes install.sh; a Python wheel does not update the app.

This remains a locally signed beta without Apple Developer ID or notarization.
The signing identity is retained for compatible in-app updates. macOS may require
Privacy & Security → Open Anyway and refreshed permissions. No Windows or Intel
Mac installer is included. Native applications and optional renderers need their
own installation and qualification.

Validation scope

Release validation covers affected planning, recovery, operation and provider
contracts with controlled fixtures, plus packaging, updater and website behavior.
Package checks verify source identity, matching versions, bundled dependencies,
code signatures and asset checksums. No live provider job, user-content rendering,
messenger delivery or clean-host installation is claimed for this release.

Task Relay 0.13.60 beta

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 17 Sep 15:58

Task Relay 0.13.60

Fixes workflow planning on a fresh installation. This focused update builds on
published 0.13.54 and retains its existing capabilities.

What changed

  • New installations can plan with an already configured and verified file worker,
without needing a saved production policy or an earlier workflow. Relay prefers
the conversation provider and freezes the exact configured model.
  • Explicit worker choices and saved assignments remain fixed. If no worker is
ready, Relay points to Check worker connection instead of an internal policy key.
  • Planning still presents the existing approval boundary before production starts.
Historical failed requests and responses remain saved and are not replayed.

Install or upgrade

For Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later, download
Task-Relay-0.13.60-arm64.dmg. Quit Task Relay, replace the app in Applications,
and reopen it. Keep the same saved data folder.

Apps from 0.13.26 onward can use Settings → App updates. Enable Include beta
releases, click Check for updates, Download update, then Install and restart.
Earlier apps need the manual DMG installation and any offered service handoff.
The matching CLI source includes install.sh; a Python wheel does not update the app.

If worker setup is still needed, connect a provider and select its text model,
then use Apps and tools → Code and document tools → Worker provider → Check worker
connection. Ask Relay to continue the saved request after updating; the update
itself does not replay failed work.

This remains a locally signed beta without Apple Developer ID or notarization.
The signing identity is retained for compatible in-app updates. No Windows or
Intel Mac installer is included.

Validation scope

Controlled first-run planning, provider/model preservation, workflow recovery,
desktop planning and updater checks use synthetic data. Packaging checks verify
bundled dependencies, matching app/runtime versions, code signatures and asset
checksums. No live provider job, Rhino modeling or clean-host installation is
claimed for this release.

Task Relay 0.13.54 beta

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 16 Sep 14:45

Task Relay 0.13.54

Mac beta refresh for workflow continuity, presentation creation and native model recovery.

What changed since 0.13.26

  • More reliable artifact handoffs across research, native models, image work and
presentations. Uploaded reference images retain their exact versions and reach
capable workers; native inspectors receive only the explicitly selected model.
  • Clearer blocked-stage explanations and progress cards, including provider request
budgets, token usage and separate task sections. Saved, unexecuted plans can be
recovered without repeating completed work or losing their failure receipts.
  • Focused, independently reviewed Rhino/Blender script corrections preserve prior
results and require a separate Start before executing changed native code.
  • Reusable presentation layouts, image grids, authentic image sourcing and bounded
correction paths improve editable PPTX assembly. Optional missing plant photos
can be omitted when the request permits it.
  • Browser capture and review improvements, explicit source contracts, workflow
output folders and clearer result handoff.
  • Website downloads now discover complete published GitHub releases, including
betas, without a website edit for each app release. Version labels, Mac downloads,
CLI source and checksums come from the same release.

Install or upgrade

Download Task-Relay-0.13.54-arm64.dmg for Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later.
Quit Task Relay, open the DMG, replace Task Relay in Applications, and reopen it.
Keep your existing data folder. If Settings offers Review service handoff, complete
it for existing Telegram and Messages services.

Compatible apps from 0.13.26 onward can use Settings → App updates → Download
update → Install and restart. Enable Include beta releases to see this package.
Earlier apps need the manual DMG installation because their service commands differ.
The matching CLI source includes install.sh; a Python wheel does not update the app.

This remains a beta: locally signed, without Apple Developer ID or notarization.
macOS may require Privacy & Security → Open Anyway and refreshed permissions.
Windows 10+ support is under development; no Windows installer is included.

Validation scope

Targeted controlled tests accompany the individual workflow fixes. Release checks
cover updater compatibility, publication and website discovery/download behavior.
The built app matches the locally installed 0.13.54 runtime. Native geometry quality,
paid providers, clean-host installation and Windows execution were not requalified
as part of this packaging release.

Task Relay 0.13.26 beta

Pre-release

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Sep 14:20

Task Relay 0.13.26

Mac beta refresh with current workflow orchestration, app settings and package cleanup.

What is included

  • Apps and tools settings show detected installations and versions, with switches
for supported apps, Browser use, and bundled code/document tools.
  • Request-derived workflows retain selected outputs, execution reviews, recovery
receipts and inspectable workflow folders across research, native models,
visualization and editable presentations. Existing approval boundaries remain.
  • Shared Gemini/OpenAI/Qwen workers, browser screenshots, reusable procedures and
history-based automation suggestions. Connected accounts and optional native
apps are still required for the operations that use them.
  • Bundled document dependencies support PPTX, DOCX, XLSX and PDF operations.
  • Launchers and services now call the task_relay package directly. The 56 root
forwarding modules and their packaging entries are removed.
  • Windows CI fixture corrections are included. Windows 10+ support is still in
development; this release does not provide a qualified Windows installer.

Install or upgrade

Download Task-Relay-0.13.26-arm64.dmg for Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later.
Quit Task Relay, open the DMG, replace Task Relay in Applications, and reopen it.
Keep your existing data folder. If Settings shows an existing service, choose
Review service handoff and complete it; do the Messages handoff too if offered.
These steps migrate old launcher paths without deleting requests or outputs.

Apps through 0.13.25 require this one-time manual installation. The new protocol 2
update manifest blocks older updaters from silently installing incompatible service
commands. Later compatible releases support Settings → App updates → Download
update → Install and restart; enable Include beta releases for beta packages.

This beta is locally signed, without Apple Developer ID or notarization. macOS may
require Privacy & Security → Open Anyway after the first opening attempt, and
permissions may need refreshing. It is therefore marked as a prerelease.

The matching CLI source archive includes install.sh. Python wheels/source packages
are separate from the desktop app and do not update Task Relay.app.

Validation scope

Controlled checks cover package entry points, installed wheel imports, service
migration/recovery, updater compatibility, and website downloads. Existing native
CAD/media workflows were not rerun for this packaging change. Clean-host install
qualification, Apple notarization and native Windows execution remain pending.

Task Relay 0.13.0 beta

Pre-release

@github-actions github-actions released this 13 Sep 18:01

Task Relay 0.13.0 beta

The 0.13.0 Mac beta and matching CLI source are available now. This is a prerelease; 0.12.0 remains the latest stable release.

Downloads

Included

  • Browser use settings with a dedicated Chrome profile and retained sign-ins, standalone Perplexity Search, meaningful research queries and guarded submission without uncertain replay.
  • Independent conversation, image, video and 3D defaults. Runway and Higgsfield image/video adapters; Meshy text-to-untextured-GLB generation.
  • Editable PowerPoint generation, exact artifact/context handoffs, reviewed Rhino preparation and versioned workflow starters.
  • Companion and Messages service identity fixes, bundled browser/image/presentation dependencies, and matching channel/browser switch styling.

Beta limits

The Mac app requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14+. It is locally signed, not Apple Developer ID signed or notarized; macOS may require Open Anyway and refreshed privacy grants. Browser verification challenges remain manual. Provider API credentials and optional native apps are separate. Live generation quality and clean-host installation remain unqualified. Meshy texturing/image-to-3D and native Keynote import are not included.

Source updates retain protocol 2. The source updater does not update Task Relay.app. Existing 0.12.0 installations need the documented controller bootstrap before using newer source update flows.

Task Relay v0.12.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 12 Sep 06:07

Task Relay 0.12.0

  • Guided source installation, resumable provider/Telegram/project setup and local
    diagnostics independent of Codex desktop.
  • Explicit release installation, gated service switching, code rollback and
interrupted-activation recovery for compatible Telegram-only core installs.
  • Daily stable-release checks and one Telegram notice per newer version, with an
option to disable both checks and notices.

This is an active-development release. Windows execution, explicit data migration,
separate Messages deployment updates and native Linux service-switch acceptance
remain open. Controlled macOS service checks do not establish provider access or
real Telegram delivery. See update instructions and the
roadmap for supported scope and remaining work.
