Encaje is a native window manager for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.

  • Draw custom window zones and record your preferred keyboard shortcuts.
  • Move between monitors, undo grid edits, and compare saved zones visually.
  • Save workspaces, exclude apps, and optionally start at login.
  • Set up Accessibility with a guided drag-and-drop flow.
  • Choose English or Spanish and install signed updates from inside the app.

Install

  1. Download Encaje-1.0.0.dmg and drag Encaje into Applications.
  2. Open Encaje and enable Accessibility when prompted.
  3. Choose your zones and shortcuts. The initial Shift shortcuts replace their uppercase letters; pause Encaje or exclude an app when needed.

Verification

The DMG and its embedded app are Developer ID signed, notarized and stapled.
The update ZIP and appcast are signed with Sparkle Ed25519. Local validation includes
49 tests, a real update/relaunch, and rejection of a tampered update archive.
