v1.2.5 — self-contained settings switch

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 25 Oct 13:53

The Settings → General row now draws its own switch instead of loading @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-primitives, so a harness-side change to that package can no longer fail the plugin at load. Markup, theme tokens and behaviour are unchanged; the README comparison table now names the setting. 36 tests pass.

v1.2.4 — ghost stays in its own conversation

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 25 Oct 10:51

Fixes the ghost bleeding into another conversation.

Fixed

  • The overlay now anchors to the composer card that owns it, resolved through its own DOM ancestry (anchor.closest('[data-composer-card]')). It previously measured the first [data-composer-card] in the document, so with more than one composer mounted (another panel, a session transition, a second window) the suggestion could be painted over a different conversation — and Tab there consulted the wrong card, so it did nothing.
  • All affected paths are scoped: ghost position, editor measurement, caret reads, and the Tab/Alt+↓/Esc gate.
  • Switching Sessions also clears the measured box, not just the suggestion.

Verified

  • 36/36 unit tests, including the ref-scoped lookup.
  • In a live GUI: the ghost renders inside its own card, and switching Sessions re-predicts for the new session with no stale text carried over.
  • Confirmed by the reporter in the layout that previously bled.

Install: npm install -g dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.4 (or dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.4).

1.2.3: package search metadata update

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 25 Oct 10:20

Version 1.2.3 narrows npm keywords to six core search terms. Runtime code, authentication, completion behavior and the 36-test suite are unchanged from 1.2.2. This metadata change is not a verified fix for npm search visibility.

The authentication and completion fixes from 1.2.2 are included. Requires Harness >=0.2.1-rc.3 <0.3.0-0.

Install or update in the desktop app or Web GUI through Plugins → Install → dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.3, or use:

dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.3

Restart Harness after installation/update. The attached file is the actual public npm tarball; registry SHA-512 integrity and all ten files were checked against tag v1.2.3. npm publication and tests passed through GitHub Actions, with SLSA provenance.

1.2.2: authenticated predictions and completion fixes

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 25 Oct 09:42

Both prediction endpoints now require Harness connection admission and owner access before reading sessions or using model tokens. Updating from earlier versions is recommended.

Also fixes cancellation between simultaneous views, draft-cache hash collisions, partial output after cancellation/token limits, a stale ghost after refused insertion, and prediction resumption after IME composition. Invalid and non-JSON input is rejected before model work.

Requires Harness >=0.2.1-rc.3 <0.3.0-0. Tested on 0.2.1-rc.3 in the macOS Electron app and authenticated Chrome web GUI with the real model. All 36 automated tests pass, including HTTP admission and cancellation regressions; installation in an empty profile also passes.

Install/update through Plugins → Install with dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.2, or run:

dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.2

Restart Harness after installing/updating. Tab inserts into an editable draft and never submits it. npm publication has verified SLSA provenance from GitHub Actions.

1.2.1: Trusted publishing and installation docs

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 25 Oct 09:18

This patch ships the desktop/web installation guidance and Chinese usage instructions on npm, expands autocomplete search keywords, and makes release verification wait for npm's asynchronous processing.

The completion runtime is byte-for-byte unchanged from 1.2.0. All 30 automated tests pass. Publication is performed by GitHub Actions using the npm trusted publisher and provenance; no npm token is stored in GitHub.

Install or update through Plugins → Install → dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.1, then restart Harness. CLI profiles can run dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.1.

1.2.0: Safer Tab completion and a settings switch

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 24 Oct 11:49

Composer predictions now has a Settings → General switch for both modes, saved on this device, and accessible announcements for final suggestions.

Tab accepts only completed, normalized candidates. Interrupted streams are discarded, continuations stay at the caret, duplicate separator spaces are removed, and a refused insertion never replaces the draft.

Validated with 30 passing automated tests, a clean-profile package installation, and real model completions in both the browser and the open DeepSeek Harness Electron app. Tab, candidate cycling, Escape and the settings switch were checked without submitting the test drafts.

Install or update:

dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-composer-predictions@1.2.0

Restart Harness after installing. Prediction calls use your configured model and consume tokens. The setting is stored locally per browser origin/device.

v1.1.3 — positioning

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 23 Oct 11:33

README now leads with the differentiator: caret continuation plus keyboard-only candidate cycling, with a comparison table against the other composer-prediction plugins. npm description names both modes. No runtime changes.

v1.1.2 — fixed screenshots on npm

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 23 Oct 08:43

README screenshots now use absolute GitHub URLs so they render on the npm package page. Adds a changelog link in the README and points package metadata at the repository, homepage, and issue tracker. No runtime changes.

v1.1.1 — changelog

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 23 Oct 08:36

Ships CHANGELOG.md in the published tarball, plus repository links in the manifest. No runtime changes.

v1.1.0 — next-message and continuation ghost text

Choose a tag to compare

@Stijnus Stijnus released this 23 Oct 08:36

Tab-completion for the DeepSeek Harness composer.

Highlights

  • Next-message ghost — after each reply, the empty composer streams a suggestion for your likely next message. Tab accepts it as an editable draft and never sends it.
  • Inline continuation — pausing mid-draft with the caret at the end completes the sentence at the caret.
  • Multiple candidates — up to three per request, cycled with Alt+Down / Alt+Up, dismissed with Escape; typing aborts in-flight requests.
  • Tool-aware context — recent tool calls and their outcomes join the prompt.
  • Streamed transport — POST /composer-prediction/v2 over Server-Sent Events; the original JSON route is kept for older clients.
  • Caching — per-turn and per-draft, so an unchanged context costs no model call.

Install

Plugins → Install → dsh-composer-predictions

or

dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-composer-predictions

Requirements

A Harness build that provides conversation.input.overlay, ctx.llm, and sessions.deriveMessages().

Notes

First public release; 1.0.0 was prepared locally and never published.
