New Tools tab, a Wild hunt with filters, Teleport, a Bag cheat, and a wild-encounter cheat that works from a single click. ffmpeg is bundled, so GIF and MP3 export work with nothing to install.

Wild hunt

Walks into the nearest grass, paces until something appears, reads it, and runs from anything you didn't ask for.

It shows the route you're on, its encounter rate, whether you're standing in grass, and which Pokémon that grass can actually produce — click those to hunt only for them. Filters are all optional; leave them blank and it stops at any shiny:

  • shiny only — untick to hunt for a nature or IV spread regardless of shininess
  • species, nature, level range
  • minimum IVs per stat, or a minimum total

A line under the filters says in plain words what it will stop for, and every encounter scrolls past with its nature and IVs so you can watch it work.

Bag

Everything you're carrying, plus every item this build defines — read from the game's own item database, so it's exactly what the game can hold, with the right pocket and shop price. Search for one, type a number and Add, Set a new quantity, or set 0 to throw it away.

Teleport

Every map in the game with a search box that takes plain text or a regex — cave|forest, ^MAP_Route1.

Maps with an exit in the area you're standing in are highlighted and sorted first; Go walks you into it. Step outside before using it — from inside a building there's no exit to walk into, and it'll tell you so.

Save backups

Your save lives in a hidden folder of hash-named files the game rewrites together, so this backs up the whole thing.

  • Take as many snapshots as you like and name them
  • Restore or delete any one from the list
  • Restoring asks first, and snapshots what it's replacing, so even a restore you didn't mean is recoverable

Close the game before restoring — while it's running it holds the save files open and writes its own copy back at the next save point. Backing up while it runs is fine.

Money

Read and set your money from the Tools tab. Spending in a shop updates it straight away.

Wild encounter cheat

Pick a Pokémon, flip the switch, and the next wild Pokémon is that species — shiny too if you tick the box. You no longer type a name or a dex number; those come from the game. Pokémon this build has no data for are greyed out instead of failing when you use them.

The switch used to be dead until you'd picked something, so clicking it did nothing and explained nothing. It's live once you're attached, and tells you what's missing.

This also fixes a bug where a forced encounter could be reported as the wrong Pokémon, and a shiny could be missed during a hunt.

Fixed: the game closing by itself

The title screen menu is Continue / New Game / Options / Close Game, and it's mouse driven. The reload-save step posted Enter at it, which quit the game outright — during a starter hunt that could happen on any reset. It clicks Continue now.

Assets

  • Character sprite sheets crop correctly — several NPCs and the player were showing half a sprite or two side by side
  • A Pokémon's follower sprites and battle sprites now appear together instead of as two half-empty entries
  • BC5 textures decode instead of failing
  • Broken previews across a 450-asset sweep: none

Faster

Attaching warms up in ~3 seconds instead of ~15, and the first Travel or wild lookup no longer takes half a minute.

Credits

The Pokémon spawning and encounter cheats, the money cheat, the memory-tools template the daemon is built on, and party fetch/list are Ionic28's work. The shiny rate control, forced shiny, map teleporting and the save backup features are separate work and not theirs.

Install

Download GammaToolkit-v0.0.2-portable.exe and run it. No Python, no Node, no ffmpeg — it's all in there.

Windows x64. Works with the Early Access build (UE 5.6) and the original (UE 5.3).

Bundles ffmpeg (LGPL v2.1+, unmodified, from BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds); its licence ships alongside it in the app folder and the source is at ffmpeg.org.
